Churches in Bewdley Parish

All Saints

Kidderminster Road Wribbenhall Bewdley
01562 825821

All Saints Church was built in 1879 for the people of Wribbenhall and is surrounded by a churchyard.

In 2011, following the retirement of the vicar, no new one was appointed and we became part of a benefice joining with the neighboring Bewdley parish.

Worship services are held every Sunday at 9.30 am, apart from the 1st Sunday of the month when a benefice service is held at 10.30, on a rotating basis. It has a regular attendance of around 30 people who appreciate its traditional style services with a modern outlook.

Many people say they like the church because of it's  organ for music, the style of service and wonderful calm atmosphere inside the building.

On Mondays the church is open for the Monday Club from 10 am to 12 noon, during which a thriving Knit and Natter group meet.

On the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 10am to 12 noon, there is a monthly book sale with hundreds of books, CD's DVD's and Jigsaws available for purchase. The church is also available for people seeking a drink and chat.

In late 2018 a small portion of the ceiling came down and for safety reasons the nave was closed, although the back of the church remains open for both Sunday services and small scale events. The PCC are working towards repairing the ceiling and fully re-opening the church.

St. Anne's, Bewdley

Load Street Bewdley Worcestershire
07982 611493
https://www.facebook.com/BewdleyParish/

St Anne's Parish Church in the Town Centre is an impressive, Georgian building that has been a focus for worship since 1748. It is the home of a large, friendly and diverse group of Christians. We aim to be
* a warm and accepting community,
* child friendly,
* vibrant, reflective and relevant in worship,
* open to change,
* thoughtful in our faith,
* serving the wider world.

Sunday worship normally lasts just over an hour starting at 9.30 am. Music is important to us and is usually a mix of traditional and contemporary. Children and Young People will often meet in their own groups and join with adults for Communion.

On the first Sunday of each month we join with the other 3 churches in the Benefice for Holy Communion at 10.30 am.  The location rotates round the churches - for details see our website.

The building is open during the week, Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 2pm, for people to call in for refreshment, to browse the Traidcraft stall or just for peace & quiet or for a chat.
